Makita’s lightest rotary hammer DHR182 with dust extraction – weighs only 3.6 kg

Thanks to its light and compact design, Makita’s new DHR182 rotary hammer makes work easier. Despite its small size, the machine offers a wide range of functional features. These include three operating modes, a brushless motor, anti-vibration technology and AWS compatibility. In addition, the machine can be connected to a vacuum cleaner for added comfort and safety.

3-mode operation: rotation only, hammering with rotation and hammering only

Despite its compact size, this rotary hammer is extremely versatile. It offers three operating modes: rotation only, hammering with rotation and hammering only. The machine is equipped with a durable brushless motor.

Capacity of up to 18 millimetres

The machine’s maximum cutting capacity is 18 millimetres. The optimal drilling range for concrete is 5–10 millimetres. The machine offers an impact energy of 1.7J. The machine accepts SDS-PLUS blades.

Anti-vibration technology and AWS compatibility

The machine is equipped with an anti-vibration system (AVT). With an AWS chip, which comes as an optional accessory, this AWS compatible machine can be connected to a vacuum cleaner that supports the technology. This allows the vacuum cleaner to be started automatically via a wireless connection.

Dust extractor attachment for wireless dust removal

For the best results, dust should be removed as soon as it is generated. The dust extractor kit connected to the machine removes dust as soon as the drill bits bring it to the surface of the material from the hole being drilled. The dust extractor attachment is equipped with a HEPA filter and an innovative filter cleaning mechanism that removes dust from the filter with a single turn of a switch.

Two models: DHR182RTWJ and DHR182Z

The machine is available in two models. DHR182RTWJ comes with a dust extractor attachment, two 5.0 Ah batteries and a rapid charger. DHR182Z is a body-only version without the dust extractor attachment, batteries and charger
