Following a successful first series in 2021, presenter and comedian Mel Giedroyc is back to host 10 of the country’s top woodworking enthusiasts, all competing to win the coveted title of Britain’s Best Woodworker.

 

Each week, the carpenters will apply their talents to produce stunning creations from wood to demonstrate their skill and remain in the competition, with their efforts evaluated by two expert judges – Design Academic, Tom Dyckhoff and “industry titan” and Entrepreneur Sophie Sellu.

DSP600ZJ Twin 18V LXT Brushless Plunge Saw

Utilising two 18V LXT batteries for additional power, this 165mm cordless plunge cut saw is ideal for heavier-duty applications. It features Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) that works to automatically adjust the cutting speed to match the load conditions to ensure optimum operation. The DSP600ZJ includes a depth stopper for splinter free cutting, is compatible with a guide rail and bevels -1 to 48O.

 

RP2303F ½” Plunge Router

The RP2303F delivers an impressive no-load speed of up to 22,000rpm, ensuring it can tackle wood cutting with ease. With a linear ball bearing plunge system for super-smooth action, plus a deep plunge capacity of up to 70mm, and easy-to-read cutting depth scale, this tool is ideal for precision work.

 

DKP181 18V LXT Brushless Planer

With Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) for optimum operation, the DKP181 allows a cutting depth up to a maximum 3mm and its three different chamfering size grooves offer maximum versatility. Other features include an electric brake, left and right-handed chip ejection and a spring-loaded stand that elevates the base to protect the blades and workpiece.

 

DLX2176TJ 18V LXT Combo Kit

This kit includes the powerful DHP481Z 18V LXT Brushless Combi Drill LXT and DTD154Z 18V LXT Brushless Impact Driver, plus two 5Ah batteries and the DC18RC compact charger.
