The warranty period of your Makita tool may be extended to an additional 2 years subject to the following conditions:

  • Makita Tools that are CE marked and (with the exceptions of Batteries, Battery Chargers, Accessories, Petrol Products, Production Tools and Air Tools and Compressors) purchased on or after 1st July 2012.
  • The tool is registered by the end user within 30 days of purchase.

The batteries are not repairable!

If you return the battery to us at the address on our website marked for the attention of our Service Department one of our engineers will inspect it for you, please ensure you enclose a return address and contact telephone number along with a brief outline of the fault.

Could you tell me what the last 3 letters means (RFE) or other models that have (Z)?

The Z version is the bare drill, the RFE is the kit (2 batteries, charger in carry case)
