Training

The Value of Knowledge

Our future is important, Makita knows this and so is proud to be the only tools manufacturer to offer training in the use of any and all power tools from within it’s National Training Centre in Milton Keynes.

In fact, Makita is the first company to provide a full City and Guilds course, to ensure that everyone is able to use any power tools in the correct fashion within the workplace and the home.

Training

Running for a minimum of a day, dependant on the amount and kind of tools covered, the course will go over important points like health and safety, risk assessment, arm vibration syndrome (the cause of and symptoms) and the safe operation and use of portable, electric power tools.

Training is universal; it doesn’t just apply to Makita brand tools, and is open to all within the construction industry as well as teachers and other school/college trainers.

Below is information on the courses we offer. If you would like anymore information please phone our training team on 01908 211678 or email training@makitauk.com
